FACILITIES
IN GATE/OUT GATE
In-Gate processes the reception of incoming and outgoing containers. Gate system automatically reads the trailer's license plate, which is pre-linked with container profile on the system, and indicates the best location immediately after the clerk's check with incoming container and profile data on the system.
Meanwhile, at Clerkless Out-Gate, side-bottom checker inputs damage information onto RHT (Radio Handy Terminal) while top checker inputs onto PC at catwalk. After these rapid process, containers are delivered to each destination with EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt) issued by unmanned gate system.
REMOTE OPERATION ROOM
At Remote Operation Room, 7 consoles are equipped, which can operate unmanned RTG's with monitors. It remarkably improves the efficiency that 22 RTG's are operated with only a few operators. This works for not only the declining birthrate and aging society but the improvement of working environment such as high place work at nighttime, severe cold and intense heat as the terminal open 365 days / 24 hours a day.
REMOTE AUTOMATED RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry Crane)
The world's first remote operation as RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry Crane) has been developed. RGC (RTG Group Control) system controls unmanned RTG operation at all times. In addition, the terminal management system has also been developed to equalize RTG's operation. It enables not only the energy reduction but the best efficiency by minimizing the facilities' 3 “un's” (un-need, un-even and un-reasonable) movement.
GANTRY CRANE
The berth with water depth of 16 meters is the deepest in Japan. And the largest class mega-cranes in Japan rise on berth. Mono-box largest-size structure installed to the boom enables high productivity and lightweight keeping strength of double-box cranes. An outreach-length of 59 meters makes possible to reach 22 rows of containers on deck. It is possible to accept largest containerships in existence.
AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle)
AGV is wirelessly controlled unmanned vehicle.Coupling with automated RTG,AGV Contributes to higher productivity of TCB.
